We have a PMFC WhatsApp group which is used to share with club when members intend to fly. This enables members to fly together and meet up. We often have a chat while enjoying a coffee or lunch, where we might share modelling experiences and offer help and guidance. Meeting up in this way offers increased safety over members flying alone.
The club holds the occasional fun fly event bringing the club together while enjoying the lighter side of the hobby.
The club holds an annual AGM in a nearby hostelry. Members are encouraged to attend where the mechanics of the club can be debated and set for the forthcoming year.
More formal club notices are emailed to members as required.
The flying strip and pit areas are mown on a regular basis (subject to weather) by some club members resulting in short grass.
